Lough Meila Lodge is surrounded by over 100 natural lochs, many of which are stocked by the local angling club, based in the Rosses. Permits for trout fishing are very reasonable, and all our waters are fly only.
Salmon anglers can try their hand in the local Crolly River, which has a fair run in the summer floods. Or they can fish the famous Finn, which is less than an hour away.
Sea anglers are also spoiled for choice, with Burtonport and Killbegs being short drives away. THe World Boat Fishing Championships was held here recently,- 'nuff said.
